Hey guys, got a few questions regarding repainting I hope you guys can help with.
So I'm thinking some new livereys might be nice to look at on the V8s in my collection.
I've seen the posts here and they have given me some great tips but hoping to get some precise feedback.

Im an old warhammer player and have dozens of pots/spray cans of water based acrylic paint and quite a steady hand so am rather excited about the prospect of applying my own designs.

I also have some decal water slide print paper to make my own decals.

I'm just seeking advice re removing the existing paint- I see brake fluid and/or metho is a favourite...
Any tips would be handy, hoping to avoid any dramas you guys might have experienced by getting your input.

Most of the guys use an airbrush but spray cans will work fine aswell, we also use waterside decals that we get from Pattos place. We don't use brake fluid anymore as is makes the body posts brittle, we all sand them back now, but make sure you get all print off, and then prime with Tamiya plastic primer before painting an decaling then clear coat over the top. If you are looking for the best tips I would suggest coming to our racemeet on Friday and talking to Trent and Tristan and they will give you all the tips you need.
