Heres a current wip that I'm working on. Its the williams fw 16 San marino version. Its a multi media kit from model factory hiro , with full detail. But I have added a few bits to suit myself .[img]

Ive also added some carbon fiber along the way.The block is all cast white metal. I have drilled out all the nuts and bolts on the heads, around the exhaust manifold and added new detail nut and bolts. I have also added detail wiring

I have made the exhausts and detailed them by adding weld seams and adding wiring for sensors

The fuel rail has been modified from this

to this

A scratchbuilt throttle cable was added

and this is wear I'm currently at

I am at present working on the transmission and detailing the brakes and rotars.I've drilled out holes to add stud detail and adding brake balance lines with detail nuts as well as brake bleeders. Thanks for looking.
Regards Wayne

Thanks guys for the comments.I've been toiling away continuing this build. Its been difficult and slow at times, having a 10month old boy at your heels, while trying not to put your chair on his fingers just when you are in the middle of an important bit..... But I'm not the only one who's been in this position. Anyway I have put the rear end together along with some carbon work, extra details and a bit of wiring.I wanted to dress up the rear suspension /pivot arms a little. It was a big decision to cut the piece up but it turned out alright.

Pivot arm

Rear end

From here I moved onto detailing the brakes. I drilled out and inserted some nut & stud bolts the one on the left has been detailed. Bit hard to see the difference in pic but worth it in real life.

The calipers received some bleed nipples and a balance pipe with some detail nuts.

I also wanted to give the front suspension some extra details.Once again it was a hard decision to cut these white metal pieces and play around with them. Its taken a while to get right and I have only made one side. So here is a couple of pics and a mock up shot.

Soon I should have the engine and gear box mounted together ,then more pics.
Thanks for having a look.
Regards Wayne
