5 Round V8 Supercar Summer Series

Ok guys with the first round of the Summer Series to begin at our next racemeet on Friday the 21st October here are a few details about the series. The series will be run with our regular format of 5 lap qualifying and 2x5min heats with the fastest qualifiers to start from back in both heats and B and C Finals will be 10min and the A Final will be 15 min except for final round more to come about the final round. Points accumulated from the Finals will go towards the Championship, points from qualifying and heats only go to deciding grid positions for Finals only. I will also be only counting your best 4 rounds so it allows for someone to either have a bad round or miss a round entirely. I am also currently contemplating pricing some small trophies for the series but will confirm this definately when i get some prices over the next few days, but this may also reqiure everyone to also make a gold coin donation upon racing to go towards covering costs, also on that note even though i will be racing in the series i will not be included in the final results for trophies as i think i get an unfair advantage in it being my home track, but also after seeing perfomances from most of you all over the last couple of meets i definately wont be winning as many races as i used too if anyone else has any other comments to make about the series feel or want to discuss the trophy issue feel free to post away
