Fantastic night of racing last night with 13 drivers contesting the nights racing and the new A and B grade format worked a treat with easily the best racing so far of 2023 on what was another warm night, but the track was prepped accordingly and it delivered. Nascar kicked off the night and the B graders were up first. They put on a fantastic show with Drew and Eddie looking like the pace setters from qualifyingbut come heat time Leanne and Riley were giving it there best in serach of victory. But it was the 50 lap Feature race that mattered most and unfortunately while in a battle for first Eddies race ended early with mechanical failure, so Drew took charge and led to claim victory from Leanne in 2nd who is coming along with her lap to lap consistency. Riley brought it home for 3rd in his first night of racing. The A graders were up next and the racing was top notch with high quality heats and a superb B-Final. But the A-Final was next level with a Daytona type start with a pack battle with the 6 cars that lasted numerous laps. John shot out to a nice lead early , but in the final stops was caught out and Chainsaw snuck through to never look back and finish off the final stint in style to back up his V8 win from last fortnight with the Nascar win this week. John brought it home in 2nd place and Steve rounded off the podium in 3rd. Porsche Cup finished the night, and the B-Graders again had some great battles, but it was Drew and Eddie that had a great battle out front for most of the race and the order stayed that way with Drew making it 2 wins for the night followed by Eddie in 2nd place and Leanne in 3rd. The A graders finished the night with a cool A-Final which Dan S had in the bag but unfortunately was robbed with a mechanical issue, so that left Steve to pick up the pieces and take the win from Chainsaw in 2nd and Sandman nabbed a 3rd. Next fortnight will see the Final sprint round before the 6 hour Enduro in a months time, we will be running 1/24 V8's and GT3's
