Well that was fun to be back after our enforced layoff and it was great to catch up with everyone. We started the day out with Muscle Cars first and they are definately improving lots as we get used to them with a great pack battle to start the A-Final, showing these will be cracking fun once we get them all dialled in. Steve got up for the Round win by taking out the A-Final followed by Ryan in 2nd giving the Torana a great debut and Sandman just sneaking home with enough fuel on the last lap for 3rd. We were also supposed to race the next round of V8's but being this is the first time i have done a big scenery upgrade since moving to mostly magless cars and foam tyres, well some of the grass got spread around the track enough to make the V8's a tad slippery so we decided to run it as a fun round as the track grip was making the racing a bit ugly compared to the usual grip we get most nites. John got away with a comfortable win by racing smartly with his fuel. Scott was showing last racemeet was no fluke and was on the money once again and was at times looking likely for the win but he was still happy with 2nd place. And for his 2nd podium of the day Steve took out 3rd. The track this week will be getting a good wash down and grass vaccumed in preparation for this Saturday evenings Porsche Enduro and that will make sure the track is back in tip top condition for our next sprint round the following fortnight
