Good fun for our final rounds of sprint racing last week with 11 drivers taking to the track. First off we started with 1/32 Muscle cars and with the Top 3 in points separated by 3 points going into the final round, made it a little more important for those 3 guys to focus on a good result. Heats were pretty good but for the finals we decided to try the sensors in pit lane which ended up costing us about 20min of time but was worth it as we all want the sensors working back to normal the way they did with the old PC. Anyway once we got through the issues we got on with the finals and the B Final was a bit of a never ending affair but it got run eventually and that left us with an A-Final with all 3 Championship hopefuls in there plus 3 others wanting to spoil their party. In the end Ryan got the win while also debuting his new 82 Brock Bathurst winning body so was good to see one of our printed bodies up front and also winning him the championship at the same time. Allan grabbed 2nd place in the race while Steve came home in 3rd place. So the championship top 3 ened up being Ryan, Steve and Sandman. To finsh the night we had 1/24 Lexan GT3 and the racing as great again in these cars with a fantastic B-Final and the A-Final was just as good. Allan took back to back racemeets with his victory again last nite in the big Merc. Steve grabbed 2nd place and Sandman was 3rd with a last lap pass on Dan. Sandman also wins the the very first Lexan GT3 series with that result from Allan and Ryan. We have a special Breakup racemeet in 1 week time with some mini Endurance Racing, Trophy Presentation and a BBQ to kick the night off.
