Great Racemeet last Friday with a small but fun crowd on hand. Racing was fantastic with some very polite racing which was good to see and we got to see some very mixed results as a extra bonus.
The night started out with the Slotworx V8's which was fantastic heat racing but the final was just as good if not better. In the end Steve grabbed his first ever V8 win with some fantastic clean driving saw him comfortably get home with the win. And was another clean drive to Tristan which will now bump him up to the pointy end of the points. And finally John got on the podium with a good recovery drive after falling back a bit early in the race. 2nd part of the night saw us bust out the 1/32 Aussie Touring Cars which was also great fun. The Final was fast with this class every improving and Sandman made it 3 wins on the trot in this class with another great drive. 2nd was Steve with his 2nd podium of the night and 3rd went to Bruce who did a stellar job wiht one of the NBS loan cars which was slapped together 30mins before racing lol.
