Cool racemeet last racemeet with another good turnout. We were also lucky to meet Neil the new owner of Al's old Digital track with it now going to Typhoon Cues in Gympie which will make it commercially available for use once they get it up and running. Anyway the racing was ok after the Pit lane changer copped significant damage we were lucky to get it to be able to use it with some last minute bodgy repairs to get us through the racemeet. We started first with the Slotworx Porsche cars which were as usual fairly decent with some close heats and the finals were just as good. To kick off round 1 but Sandman was the man to beat and he didnt fail with a great drive to take out the A-Final. 2nd home was Dan followed closely in 3rd was John. The 2nd part of the night saw the Lexan GT3 cars and once again for a class that that has probably the most open ruleset out of our 4 classes, it once agaim proved it is also the closest with Qualifyng again so tight and some mint heat races. The Finals were pretty good but the damaged pit lane reared its head a bit in the A-Final with it causing a huge incident at the first round of stops which affected the outcome of the race but that's the way it goes. Sandman made it a perfect night in the end by also taking the win in GT3 and was followed home by the super fast Bruce and 3rd with his 2nd podium of the night was Dan.
