Sorry for the delay in posting results, life has been pretty busy. Last Friday night saw 9 Drivers take to the track with Round 5 of Slotworx Porsche and Rd 5 for Lexan GT3. We started the night with the Porsches and they wer fantastic, the racing was very close between all drivers and with a fairly decent B-Final we than saw a very close battle in the A-Final between the leading pack of guys Sandman, Dan and John, with Steve D not too far behind. But in the last 10 laps of the race a few unfortunate incidents played a role in the outcome of the race. John finally won a Final in what feels like forever lol, followed by Dan and Steve 3rd. Sandman unluckily came home 4th, followed by Tristan 5th and Mick 6th. Unfortunately in all the after race discussion i forgot to record the result and also did the same in the Lexan GT3 class. Speaking of Lexan GT3 they were up 2nd and were saw a mega Qualifying battle with virtually all cars running in the 8.0 range and once again the racing backed it up with some very cool battles ontrack. Steve was too good but in the A-Final with a good fast pace he took the win, followed by Dan in 2nd, Sean in 3rd, Mick in 4th , Tristan 5th and Sandman 6th. Next Racemeet is next week and its an all Slotworx night with the Final Rounds of V8's and Porsches. Reminder that next Friday no Mustang or ZB bodies are allowed. We will allow them to run from next season which starts the following fortnight.
