| Great first night back to start the year!. A good amount of 10 drivers were here to race with a few regulars still away, which bodes well for numbers to start off the year. The ontrack racing was fantastic with 90's Nascars making their debut on our V8 chassis and they did not dissapoint. To be fair they are potentially a tiny bit faster with the Nascar body fitted vs the V8 Supercar bodies. The heats were mint with lots of battles throughout. But its the finals that matter and it was a mega battle out front with the guys going at it, unfortunately for Sandman about mid race a motor decided to expire on him, leaving Mick to lead the pack leading into the final 20 laps. But Mick got a bit cocky with his final fuel stop and short filled by about 3 laps costing him what looked certain to be a win with genuine car pace and was driving consitently to boot. John came through but and picked up the win for the first Nascar race while Steve got 2nd and Mick recovered for 3rd. GT3 was up next and they are just so fun to drive. Everyone was on point in this class and the racing was super hot. Unfortunately the finals were a bit weird as i left the internet on on the track PC and its done some sort of an update during the night which was giving us bit of greif but we managed to finish the finals off still to get a result. Sandman was bloody flying but with the new NSX he has as didnt really get troubled too much, John and Dan followed him home for 2nd and 3rd repectively. Cant wait to see how good the racing is next fornight when we go back to back with the Nascars, and Porsche Cup Rd1 NASCAR Heat 1 Heat 2 Heat 3 Heat 4 B-Final A-Final GT3 Heat 1 Heat 2 Heat 3 Heat 4 B-Final A-Final | |
